Since 2016, Harkat has been a neighbourhood community space for alternative arts. It’s a space for experimentation and alchemy and after having hosted more than 600 shows in the mediums of film, dance, theatre, music, movement and exhibition, Harkat has established itself firmly as a self sustaining alternative institution. I play for role here as an arts enabler and over the years, the space has become a form of practice for me. A ground to speak, through programming and curation, to plant seeds and to nurture a small eco-system of independent makers.
To sustain, we do a lot of commercial work – like designing title sequences for films and documentation for films and series. To view our expanded work, you can go to www.harkat.in and our vimeo here.
